Artistic Lichtenberg Fracturing
The exterior is decorated with Lichtenberg fracturing, a process where high-voltage electricity creates intricate, lightning-like patterns across the wood surface. One-of-a-Kind Design, because the electricity follows the natural path of least resistance through the grain, every hive features a completely unique, organic pattern. These "captured lightning" bolts complement the natural warmth of the timber, turning a functional beehive into a striking piece of garden sculpture.
Hand-crafted the hive features precision-cut Dovetail joints, which provide maximum mechanical strength and ensure the boxes remain structurally sound as the timber breathes with environmental changes. Made from premium plantation grown Japanese Cedar, a timber naturally resistant to rot and termites, and renowned for its excellent thermal insulation.
Integrated Technology and Design
The hive includes built-in digital displays to monitor internal conditions, allowing keepers to ensure the colony is thriving without opening the box.
The stacked design is held securely by a heavy-duty black nylon strap and integrated handle, making it easy to move or split for colony management..

Dimensions are 200W X 280L X 230H Width and length can vary 2 mm height 3mm thickness of timber 25mm +/- 1.5mm. Differences on dimensions are due to the inherent fact there are handmade.
