This Premium Multiple Yield Native Bee Hive is a sophisticated, high-performance habitat designed for the advanced management and accelerated propagation of Australian stingless bees.
Japanese Cedar & Dovetail Joinery: Hand-crafted from premium Japanese Cedar, chosen for its superior thermal insulation and natural rot resistance. The sections are joined with precision dovetail construction, providing maximum mechanical strength and structural integrity as the timber ages.
The exterior has undergone the traditional Japanese Shou Sugi Ban process, charring the wood to create a natural, chemical-free barrier that is resistant to fire, insects, and decay while providing a striking, deep-black aesthetic.
All internal joints have been pre-coated with a thin film of beeswax. This encourages the bees to quickly secure their new home and begin building their internal structures.
Advanced Monitoring and Security
Every modular layer features its own integrated digital readout thermometer. This allows for precise, real-time monitoring of temperature throughout the day. To ensure optimal health and brood development.
Microchip Security: For professional identification and theft prevention, each hive section is microchipped. These chips can be read with a handheld scanner to access individual hive data and verify ownership.
